Came across this picture on another forum and thought some people on here may find it interesting. Apparently it's a photoshop, but I have no idea!

I like how it shows all the parts of a car. Those worried about a car breaking, just pick a part and most of those there will be quite affordable its just labour that makes scary bills imo

I hope it is real, as it's pretty cool. The reason some people thought it was a shop was because they're removed the slam panel, yet the bonnet lifter is still in place? Maybe it's against the passenger wing?

It would probably be harder to get photos of every part from the right angle and then photoshop

I wonder how much it would cost to source all those parts and just build your own car

I think it's a photoshop, they've just took a standard golf and cut it up.

I've seen a few of these done in Auto Express, where they take a car apart that's done 80k or something and see how each component has dealt with the mileage.

No way that is fake, it would take very much longer to faff about drawing it all than just take the car apart.

There's an element of photoshopping but I don't think all the parts are shopped. I think just enchanced in PhotoShop, eg nothing has proper shadows

This must be from Autocar/ Auto Express or one of those I just dont remember which one as I have seen them do it to a few cars so after a certain amount of mileage they can write an article about the wear and tear on different components
