Had the Golf 5 weeks now and thinking about selling it ....

This is car #45 since February 2006.

And #11 this year.

I like the Golf and enjoy driving it, sometimes i dont understand myself tbh.

I'm blaming the GF for me wanting to sell the Golf as she's just got a black 1.8t like mine

Longest i've kept a single car is 18 months but had a couple others at the same time.

Discuss/Section me.

i'd get bored driving the same car after a while tbh, changing things to make it look better, handle better just to keep me interested is what keeps me holding on. If I was just to buy a car and drive them the way you do I probs wouldn't hang on too long either.

Not in every case no (i.e the Almera GTi i had, bit rough, functional, purely got to sell on)

I got the Golf cos it ticked all the boxes and it cost me pocket money, and i fully intended keeping it and putting my plate on it etc.

Told them I had use of a workshop that wasn't my house etc., basically you need to blag it that you're in business properly and use your own house as the business address so it looks like you're not just using it to front you and your mates getting cheap insurance. I did try and add other people to the online quote which is probably what put them off it. Cost of being honest eh.
