I can understand having headrest TVs in the family cars - big cars that you're likely to have folk/kids in for long journeys.
I dont quite get the point of this though
Screens in the seatbacks of an R35 GTR.... must be a bit cramped!

I had them in the boot and doors.... On a show car they are not too bad, but that R35 owner might have small children that would be happy watching it.

I thought the sole purpose of them was to show off, nothing more?

I have NEVER understood the point of having TVs all over the place in those show cars!! What is the point?
Brett - we have some in the rangey. We dont have kids but it does keep other folks kids occupied during long journies Silence!

kids don't need big cars, my mum and dad managed without the need for an estate or people carrier, 3 kids
don't know why kids these days are suddenly cramped in cars? Cars are bigger too.
If the rear seats aren't suitable for kids then surely they won't fit adults, so why do we have rear seats at all?

kids 'need' all sorts of seats to go on seats these days though (seats, boosters etc)... thats why folk need bigger cars with more room for the kids.
But there is always going to be adequate room in the back of a vectra/mundano for a 2 kid family isnt there? You dont need an MPV or estate

When I was little we had a Scirocco That did for a while to get us around. It was brown, that's all I remember about it
Mike Once I was behind a car in traffic that had a dvd player thing strapped to the back of the seat, so I managed to watch part of Toy Story whilst commuting
