Off to York next month for a couple of nights (Sat/Sun) and wanting some recommendations of places to go, things to do during day and night. Going for mine and Mrs anniversary so if anyone knows of somewhere nice to eat on the sat eve that'd be good.

You can't go wrong anywhere in York really, just explore. As a rule though you tend to have your posher bars around the minster, stonegate, low petergate etc. Your old man/real ale pubs tend to be around the centre and your cheap and cheerful bars around micklegate

Castle Museum - Pretty big and full of all sorts - Even a street!
Cliffords Tower
Jorvik Museum
York Dungeon
National Railway Museum - If you are in to that!
Then the above mentioned!
