Hey guys I'm kinda stuck with these codes.... Firstly I did the Paper clip test on my 1600 16v sport yesterday as the car Started to stall at junctions and sent up EML after a couple hundred yards of driving. I got 7 codes
1405 - EGR valve
1602 - knock control module
0325 - knock sensor
0170 - ????
0335 - crank sensor
0105 - intake manifold intake sensor
0500 - idle speed stepper motor/idle air regulator
Does anyone no wat 0170 could be about?
And would the knock sensor and module set eachother off?
Easier to blank the EGR or better replacing it on a standard engine?
I also don't no much about the last two and were can I find these??
Help much appreciated guys!

Does that mean all those parts need replacing?

I'm not sure, I'm hoping for some enlightenment on here :/ knock sensor would maybe throw up a knock control module fault I'm thinking or vice versa ....

It wouldn't all fail at the same time, that looks more like loom or an earth to me.

You think so ... Suppose I could check the loom make sure there is a current coming through.

If you measure it with a meter and get 12v that still doesn't indicate it's OK, because it'll typically not supply the current if it's not earthed properly.

EGR is most likely to be causing stalling, sort that first.
Couple of others could just be knock on effects of the stalling.
Also don't forget some could be old codes that have been fixed and not cleared. Personally I'd sort the stalling first - probably EGR.

I'm with joe. fix the egr then reset the codes by leaving the battery off for an hour. if by all means the codes come back then work from there. pretty sure i got a spare knock sensor about somewhere you can have if you cover postage
