unless u buy them with a heater element in the mirrors then no u lose when u swop mirrors u see theres five wires 3 control mirror an 2 the heater element, when u buy say m3 mirrors with no heater element u get only 3 wires with them hence to control them not heat them

My new mirros have the heating element, the switch has the button to heat them up, so I guess I need the relay.
I think according to the wiring diagram for them there is antoher live, but dunno to be honest.
Do you need a special relay from vauxhall to do this or is it any ld thing? I need a bit of guidance on this. Sorry to jump onto this thread Kris

basically i have the mirrors and the wiring lomb in but they dont work unless i run them a permanent live (standard vaux ones btw)
so im guessing its that relay, but dont want to fork out for one if i dont have to, not bothered bout them not being heated if its gonna cost 30 quid for a relay.

Do you need a special relay from Vauxhall then if you do need a relay? I thought it was just a little thing you put in the top conrer of the fuse box.
