Got the 206 up for sale for what i think is cheap (£850 but would take £700) but all i have been getting is time wasters wanting it for fuk all trying to haggle down to £450-£650.

What sort of money could be in breaking it??

Its quite a rare colour so wouldn't expect the body panels to shift quick.

Does have 16" nimrods in good condition with good tyres, full SP kit, half leather interior also in good condition (no rips etc), engine and gearbox are spot on with only 85k on them.

Its taxed till end of the year and mot'd till April so ready to drive away so not as if that could be putting people off.

If I wanted £700 for it and someone offered me £650 I'd have bitten their hand off.

what colour is it? mine was moonstone blue and the panels went with no problems, even the damaged ones.

i'd imagine you'd make more than 700 easily.

remember, other people with the same colour will be waiting for panels to come up in the right colour to save the cost of spraying them.

Its Storm Grey.Even the guys over on pug206info hadn't seen much if any this colour.Google images dosn't bring much up either. Was only available for 8mths as a £250 extra.

John, the guy that offered me £650 came and had a look but didn't take it purely because the exhaust had a slight blow. Im wanting close to £850 for it but 1st person to put £700 in my hand takes it, im not knocking £200 off an £800 car, its easily worth more imo.

Scottyp1989 where did you sell most of your parts??

Car in question....

sold most of mine on 206info, few on local sites like gumtree and a few on ebay.

i weighed the shell and engine in and made 150 just of those (that was a bare shell).
100 on rear beam
150 on wheels
done full interior for 220
tinted windows for 70

so there is quite a bit to be made out of one.

No way in hell did you make 750 weighing in a bare shell. even at scraps highest value of the last 5 years at £250/ton a 500kg shell will only be worth £125. The ali engine will make £100 if you get the best aluminium scrap price of £1000/ton.

If I hadn't just paid for my holiday I'd have had that off you for £700

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

You'll get a good £250-350 for the Nimrods if the tyres have plenty of tread.

It is a bargain tbh, but people still try and haggle £200 off. I don't blame them for trying, but i just don't know why a serious buyer hasn't snapped it up.
