as some may know i have a golf mk3 daily for my daily hack while i get down to work on the corsa.the corsa is only having 2 seats not 5 which i now need as i have a family.but the problem is the 1.4 engine is turd i get left by tractors at the lights . the fuel consumption is a little shit to the gsi was better even with the foot to the boards all the time . so i have been thinking of converting the think to pd130 diesel engine but carnt really find the info i want . i.e parts i would need and work it would intale . if any body could point me in the right direction that would be a massive help cheers guys

just sell and buy a diesel :/

thats the easy way out plus i fancy the gt tdi power and economy in mk3

its not just the easy way, its the sensible way.

You will have a 1.4 MkIII golf with a Diesel conversion

Just buy a diesel golf.

I really dont see the point unless you dont get Td mkIII's or something?

was thinking the newer diesel engines but its okay been talking to some who has done it and its a right pain for little more than the mk3 td

TBH with the price you can pick up mk4 gttdi's for i wouldnt even consider a conversion, ok it might need a couple of things doing to it but it will be a better car.
