Somebody has asked me to write them a character reference for their new landlord (as of tomorrow).
If it was a job character reference it would be fine.... but what do you put in a house one?
They clean all their dishes up and mow the lawn regularly?

How long you have known them and in what capacity
Then a bit about they are trustworthy, considerate blah blah
Then you finish with a bit about how you feel about them i.e you highly recommend them for a tenancy agreement
If you google it theres probably loads of templates

Its hard isnt it. Sent mine across yesterday evening, they said they call all references up as well. How extreme.
For a TV show you're going to have to say they have a heart of gold, due some good luck and bang on about funny they are, surely?
