just noticed my oils dropped a few notches. whats a decent oil for the 1.0 12v engine?

and could my oil being low cause the engine management to slow me down? happens if i turn a corner quickly then go up hill... but then the light goes back out

I use 10w40 magnitec in mine but if u got into vauxhall you'll be able to buy the right oil for that engine

If your loosing oil, then it's a problem.

Putting a different make in wont fix a leak.

No ENL would not do this

i have some sort of leak but dont think its engine oil. think its gearbox

GM oil is a lot more expensive from Vauxhall. I get mine off ebay

Any good quality 10-40 semi synthetic will do.

cheers people. ..... any idea why that fecking light comes on when i go sharply round a corner thou? pisses me off when going up hill, it struggles at the best of times being a 1.0 lol
