just bought a rear strut brace for in the boot of my car, got one side tightened down with a 19 socket but the other side is just catching on the threads and then just spining the shock. Cant get spanners into to this is there a way i can stop the shock from spining

either use a buzz gun or a drop down spanner

cant get a drop down spanner on to it and will the buzz gun still not spin the shock

i cant see the gains in strut top ones myself. bolts onto the rubber doesn't it?

Yh on top of shock mine goes to where the seat bolts to car (so you cant have rear seats)

you can still have rear seats if you bolt one to the chassis though cant you?

Jack up the back of the car, get some mole grips on the top of the rod in the wheel arch, start doing it up you won't need to hold them because they will stop on the arch.

Thought there would be a way of holding it from the arch cheers mate
