It struggles to start and when it does start its like its staying on tick over constant even when temp is at 90, revs up really slow and exhaust fumes smell of petrol, but when been on a little drive its ok? Can anyone help please?

try flashing to see if any codes come up... look it up, its surprisingly easy to do
and sounds like egr from that description
