Yes, I did with my old car

Added the Cage, interior stripping, buckets, harnesses, polycarbs, sunroof removal etc etc, and my premium went down.

Most mainstream insurers won't insure a car with a cage. My premium on my corsa went down.

When i was messing around with quotes for a 1.6 corsa. The roll cage made hardly any difference to the quote, maybe £50-100 but no more than that. Those quotes were with admiral.

Yeah, a standard one was 1200 to insure. one with 25% more power, bigger brakes, buckets and harness, exhaust system, alloys and cage was 1600.

So the jist of it is, if you bash bigger brakes. A roll cage and a stripped interiour it tends to come down a bit?

Unless you go with Brentacre, who won't charge for any of that stuff, then I'd expect an extra charge, if any company does knock it down, I'd be surprised.
