anyone in the know about these? looking for one for my brother hes 14 i want something that's quick, simple, already built and not to expensive toughly £100 any recommendations ? cheers

No such thing for that price. Not brand new anyway and I wouldnt go within a mile of a second hand one.

what you think price for a very basic one? as i know he will only crash, lose or get bored of it so not payin a fortune seen then for £120 ish brand new but only looked on one site

If thats the case I would buy him an electric one. If neither of you have any experience of Nitro Engines you/he may find it hard to set up.

Much better going electric.. I'm sure you'll find a ready to go brushless setup for £100.. it won't be fantastic though.

i bought a second hand nitro one for 70quid, boyed it around for a while until i got bored and sold it for 60. also had a quick electric one but werent as good having to recharge batteries al the time

there are some that go on ebay for £120 new, they are decent aswell iv had one for a couple of months now and will be getting another soon.

Spend the money on a decent car with a decent engine not an issue; but spend £100 on an ready-to-run kit and you will end up with some right old crap.

I had a couple a few years back, broke the cunts everytime I used them though, snapped a-arms, diff destroyed etc

Bought a nitro car three years ago thinking it would be good fun in the summer.

Didn't realise the amount of work and money that goes in to keeping the damned thing running.

Should have bought an electric, tbh.

Electric is much better for someone not too experienced, more so for a 14y/o

Electric is the way to go unless you want to spend all your time trying to get the thing running.

With a brushless system and a Lipo battery you will get long run times.

Long enough that you will get bored before it runs out anyway

defo get a electric one! had more fun with electric one than my petrol it was constantly breaking pull starts and would never idle correct lol! also used lots a fuel for some reason ;/
