is there any way you can reset it joe?

pop to garage?
dont think its a fail anyway, i had a vectra which had it on perm because of the EGR and it never failed HOWEVER this was before the new tests where you cant pass it if the emissions are high which EGR causes
So it might not fail for the light but it might fail for the reason the lights on...

Gonna try the battery trick in a bit
Think I'm just gonna put it in and see if it fails and what on then try and fix it within 10 days for the free re-test

In happier news, slow cooker is filled up and waiting to be turned on for the first time

I've got a cheapo argos special rac code reader, perfect for times like this, and because I despise having a dashboard lit up like a crimbo tree. My car kept throwing up lambda sensor, kept resetting it and its been fine since

£80 isn't cheapo IMO
Might get one of the £20 ones from Amazon depending on todays test result
