Well I tax both the LCR and fiesta on monday (the fiesta for the year) and also mot'd the fiesta and the grand total came to £216 all in.

To tax the golf for 6 months it cost me £260.

That says it all really

It really is superb great looking wee car, costs not a lot to run and is pretty nippy for a diesel. I was gonna remap it as there supposed to respond well to it, increased mpg as well as a good bhp/lbft hike. It's on 84k miles now tho so I don't wanna break it lol.

I'll go for that lol. I pick it up 2 years ago for £5k which was the cheapest one about at the time. It was taxed and mot'd the day I got it with 76k miles. They still go for that price today so that's a bonus.

Yep. It's used purely for getting to my work and back and that's it. Bit of a waste tbh lol.

I don't think so, never seen the ST dash tbh lol.

Its a bit basic inside. Has the same dash as the early STs but the seats are very basic. I was gonna try and get some ST half leathers but as the cars purely used for my work (motorway miles) it didnt make much sense spending a lot of cash changing it. I think the only thing I will do if its safe on the mileage is remap it.

Also gonna change the alloys at some point as the ones I have on the now are totally fubar'd lol. Kerb'd to hell and one has a decent flat spot due to whacking a pothole last year on the motorway.

doesn't seem worth having 2 cars to cover 4k a year in one of them

great cars though

How far is it to your work? And how often do you go? That'll give you an idea.

Right here's a tip for you all. NEVER listen to your other half when it comes to cars

I bought the car with 55k miles and it now has 84k miles. So that's just under 15k miles a year I'm doing just going to my work and back and the odd run about in it.

How can you confuse doing 4k a year, to doing 15k. You can have a guestimate in your head in about 2 seconds.
