just a quick question getting a x16xe engine and just wondering how much power you can get out of the engine with cams exhaust mani etc

any info would br good guys as dont want the usual c20 option

Think someone on here got 200hp but it must have cost a fortune. Hard to get a good torque figure too.

100bhp/litre is about the limit without going to throttle bodies on most engines, so 160bhp on a 1600cc.

And all the power is up the top end so you need proper internals to rev high to reach it.

I have been looking at pistons rods ect I had a 230 bhp glanza and picking up a r32 soon this is for the mrs looked at cams throttle body's bigger injectors and ecu just have been away from vauxhauls for a few years and want some advise lol

let me know what you want to spend and ill price a suitable motor for you.

my c16xe had cost me over £4k with ex etc too, but could do a lesser spec build.

I just want the price for parts like fast road cams throttle body's or different inlet pistons rods flywheel lightened off corse clutch injectors ecu prob a metal head gasket that will do for now
