2.0 brakes. Not drilled or groved, just the standard vented disks will be fine.
Suspension wise, you dont tend to get adjustable and cheap. But someone may correct me

i'd get grooved disks at least. wouldnt get drilled again, seen too many crack badly.
the grooves will keep the pad fresh.
most the solid standard disks ive had, have warped.

yer it will be on a xe i forgot to add
and when i say cheap i dont mean like 200 or 300 quid i mean around the 6-700 mark
i wouldnt of thought standard 2ltr brakes would be alright, as gez said i would of thought atleast grooved
anyone got any specific makes and stuff to look at or links to things theyve bought or heard good things from?

i'd stay away from Spax from a personal experience. found the rebound on them way to harsh for the road.
2.0L brakes would be fine, v6 can get a bit spongy.
whats the plans for the car? road or track?

3 way suspension will not be cheap. Whats your budget?
2 way wont really be cheap either

Warped disks is a myth. What you can feel are pad deposits. Normally caused by hard braking followed by sitting at traffic lights with your foot on the brake.

To add to this, why is adjustables necessary? I'd rather use a good fixed set up unless I was going to be using it on track a lot. Brakes wise, you can use the calipers from a Meriva can't you? Think that's a 280mm set up or some shizzle.

in reply to both of you, i want 3 ways because of the track days i want to be doing, however 2 way will be fine
budget will be about 6-700 for suspention
and how ever much needs be on brakes, thats not something im willing to skimp out on, genuinly want to spend alot of money on brakes and a good setup

you dont need to be blowing th bank with brakes though mate, seriously. a corsa is a small light car, doesnt need massive stopper or anything.
2.0L calipers, ferrodo ds2500 track pads, braided lines and a brake fluid change. disks of your choice

Dont forget to budget for decent fluid, braided lines and good pads, they are the difference between a spongey pedal after 10 mins and a full day of worry free braking regardless of big callipers and 9 billion mil discs.
I have recentley swapped from ebc yellow pads to some mintex 1155s and the difference is amazing.

who does not bother with grooved? drilled are indeed more notorious for cracking, specifically around the drileld holes.
Most people with decent powered cars that i know of opt for grooved, only mainly modern german cars which seem to use drilled discs on their cars

That good, aye? I have yellow stuff pads on my car just now and not a fan
Out of interest, why does it actually have to be adjustable for the track? I know it's not helping, just curious!

yeah i felt the yellows had no real bite to them and the feel was similar to just standing on a brick! The mintex are quite noisy in traffic etc, cant fault the stopping power though

What fluid would you go for then. Obviously dot 5 synthetic but is therespecific makes and stuff you would pick over others.
Also i will be getting braided lines and a deecent set of pads. Have seen the ds2500's a few places tbh and the reviews look quite good

Dot 4 is fine, I use this -
http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-741-castrol-brake-fluid-dot-4-formerly-response-dot-4-brake-fluid.aspx
There is a few decent ones out there, you don't need to spend loads on it, just dont go for asda smart price etc

Decent fixed rate set up will be better than opting for a half arsed cheap coil over set. Set of billies over a cheap coilies would be my preference. Dont forget a Whiteline rear arb and keep the front arb. Even get custom rear springs to further stiffen up the rear.
As ideally you may want the rear stiffen than the front. Thats how mine was set up, as it aids front end grip and turn in.
Normal 2.0l brake setup will be fine with a decent pad (m1144/55, ds 2500; steer clear of ebc stuff its shit) some decent discs, braided lines and new fluid (DOT 4 will be fine).
