is it hard to do the other one behind that... i.e what needs removed/dismantled to do it
am i better off just changing gear boxes to a f13cr?

What's leaking, the gasket you've just done or the one behind that?
Id have put a smear of sealer on with the new gasket and made sure all the mating surfaces were clean.

I've never done one, if it's too hard to get in, just drop the box down a bit. Will be easy if you can get an engine hoist to hold it.

where the other gasket is, thats where you split the box.
Have to take the box off to do that.
