After Sony got hacked, then hacked again, then again, then again...

Oh, and since it's phishing, that means it's user error rather than the actual service itself. Sony got hacked full stop, where even people who aren't retards couldn't stop their details being taken.

Actually from what I remember, the PSN was hacked.

This particular story relates to XBL account holders who've been the victims of phishing scams - so actually XBL wasn't hacked, this is just a result of idiots clicking links they shouldn't have.

This has been an issue for about a month. My mum told me a while back one of her freinds sons had been done. Atleast playstation shut down the network at the first signs

Seriously? Phishing goes on all the time for anything involving personal information. How many emails do you get a week phishing for your bank details? Do the banks shut down? Be quiet

I own both consoles

I have never been a victim of fraud

a) i dont give out personal details on XBL
b) whenever i turn my PS3 on it requires a fucking update before i go online so i just turn it off 9/10
