im trying to find a house for next year for 4 of us, searching for every combination i can think of of student housing accommodation etc i can only seem to find really shit amateur sites.
are there any really good student housing sites?

nope, there was last year but not this year. i want a nice house in a good area but there only seems to be shitty £50/week typical student houses miles away from uni and town

Round here students have a week or so where you see them swarming all the local estate agents who produce special student lists. Have you actually been in to any and asked?
