Dont know if you have heard but they look like they might be going to the dogs!!
I have a bit of a problem as i am due to go to New York and then on to Las Vegas on Thursday with them; i booked it about 5 months ago and paid all upfront on debit(unfortunately not credit) card. I have booked all flights and hotels with them which came to nearly £4K but because its booked as a flight and hotel separately its not classed as a package holiday! And when reading on BBC website it says:
"Anyone booked for a package holiday with Thomas Cook is covered under the Air Travel Organisers' Licensing (Atol) scheme, which is funded by contributions from travel companies.
However, people who have only booked a flight with the company will not be covered by the Atol scheme"
Not sure what; if anything i can do! Last thing i want is to get stuck over there and have to fork out extra money to get back etc...
Anyone else in a similar position?

They were meant to be extending some credit/borrowing deals with banks yesterday for a further £100m. Thats all I know.
