Just seen a mate post this on Facebook. I know it's American but does anybody reckon it could be semi genuine?

That they have a bottom price on a car, of course it's genuine, they won't need stickers for it either, it'll be on the computer.

The edges of the box in the grid the number sits in.

Yeah I can see that the shapes equate to the 1, 6 and 5 in the grid, I mean how are the shapes chosen.
Am I right in thinking the car is £20k on the windscreen and the shapes are somewhere which indicates to the salesman that he can go to £16500, but where are the shapes?

Over elaborate and convoluted. Bit like everything American really I suppose.
No it doesn't happen here and if it did I would imagine the dealership was ran or owned by retards rather than some sneaky sales mastermind.

Agreed, it implys the shapes don't exist and are dictated by the number on the sticker but that doesn't work.

It says they place the shapes on the vehicle, it could be pen in the corner of a window, a sticker, probably loads of other things.
They could be anywhere, it could very well be true.
Who would be surprised about it?

We used to get an updated stock list print out each week which showed the price the car was bought in at, price in the window, mileage and whether or not it was vat qualifying.
Not rocket science really.

Just keep offering less, when they stop that's when they're losing money.
