I have roughly £200 to spend and want to lower my car 40mm maybe 60mm.

I'd like coilovers because I can adjust the height to what to like, but it seems that shocks and springs give a better ride :/

Has anyone got any recommendations? Thanks

bilstein shocks/eibach springs. always wanted them tbh

i have jamex shocks and jamex 60mm rear springs with spax rsx 30mm fronts and i have no complaints. preferred the handling on the 60mm jamex front aswell but it was too low for my liking

Orite mate cheers, you reckon 40mm drops more reasonable than a 60mm then?

well IMO some sit lower than others (cant explain how haha) and im sure alot of other members have different opinions on the best ride hight....
if its used daily i really wouldn't be going to low myself

mine on 30mm fronts looks lower than some with 60mm front haha

also depends on your offset, tyre size and wheels size

60/60mm

as you can see theres no front arches left after id just removed the 205/50/15 tyres and fitted 195/45's, it had started wearing into the wings
and the exhaust manifold...

fair enough its one of them gash 4 into 1 jobbys but less than 14mm off the concrete speaks for itself

but once i fitted the 30mm front springs, its sits level, feels good, a lot more comfortable and i can actually drive it over a small stone

hope that helps

look into eibach springs, dont think they go as low as 60 but thats for a reason

and i think the fronts meant to be lower than the back for handling purposes (someone correct me on that if im wrong)
