I prefer their desktop build quality over their laptops TBH.

I'd go for a normal laptop instead.

I deal with loads every day, and although the business ones are better built than home, they are still better than most comparably priced laptops.

I'd buy a Dell purely for their customer service.

Dealt with them numerous times and the issue is resolved either right away or the replacement parts are sent the next day. In fact our laser printer in work was pulling through 3 bits of paper at a time, phoned them, it was out of warranty by 3 months and they sent a brand new printer next day delivery.

Can't argue with that.

+1 Hammer, I once blagged a free replacement battery for an old Inspiron that was at least a year out of warranty

Any personal Dell I ALWAYS phone up about a week before the 1 year is up and blag a new battery
