What are peoples opinions on them?

I may have a chance of buying one off my managing director at work in March when he gets his next new car. He's offering it at trade price, i'm guessing that'll be a bit over £10k? It's got quite a few extra's and stuff in there as well.

Anyone driven one before?

Just drives like a golf, rear visibilities a bit poor.

Drove my old bosses when they first came out, felt really nice and nippy, but that was compared to a 1.2 corsa lol :L

Rear visibility is a problem yes.

I've never driven a Golf either. Rear visibility isn't too much of a problem, i've driven a new shape Civic and some vans and you can't get much worse than that!

Bit useless, but the 2.0TSi is as fast in a straight line as my ZX4R up to 110mph and then it's gone

That use to annoy me about my 400. I could hold my mates 240 bhp astra gsi untill bout 110-115 then it just dies hits a metorphorical brick wall
