So Dumfries & Galloway schools are closed due to a bit of wind and rain??

When I was at school we just had our playtimes indoors and got on with it?

Kids are growing up to be pansies these days!

Agreed, we've been turn into a nation of shitehawk poofs somewhere along the line. I blame Europe.

I remember having to trudge through 7 and 8 inches of snow, find out the boiler had packed in when we got there, then told to sit in the classroom with our jackets on.

All fife schools closed too. I remember being in first year and the wind was so bad once that part of the school roof blew off (honestly) and me and 3 friends thought we'd all walk linking arms to brave the wind, got blown right off our feet! School still never closed

"Apparently the roof has blown off Clackmannan Primary School, parents to pick up kids immediately"

Hope that wind doesn't make it up here!
It's already windy as fuck and i'm beginning to worry about the solar panels on the roof...

It's wild at Jnc 44! Not enough to close schools! Wagons are still right way up on M6!
