im really fancying a brand new car in January and im quite liking the Corsa VXR
now i've never brought a brand new car so whats the best way to do it? Vauxhall seem to have 0% finance over 4 years, but is it really 0% or is there drawbacks/catches to it? or is there better ways to do it?

0% finance is the best way to do it if you have the deposit (usually 50%).

they would take it as part ex for part of a deposit.

say you needed 5k, they would take the astra for 2k leaving you a 3k balance to pay + the finance payments.

It's worth about a grand trade in.

As for the 0% finance, it depends what price you get that on.

This just proves what a fucking clown you really are, commenting on someone spelling when you don't even have a basic grasp of the English language.

0% is a winner, but normally they require a fairly lumpy deposit.

I wangled a lower interest rate (though not quite 0%!) with my car by maxing out a new credit card to add to my old car for the deposit.

That way, I've got 18months interest free on the credit card which I'm aggresively paying off, and I can also hop over to another 18month free interest balance transfer deal when it's time.

Obviously not recommended if you're already paying out to credit cards left right and centre, but if your finances are in order - you can save a fair bit of coin by abusing credit card deals
