Displaying live wifi signal?

I need to check wifi signal in percentages before and after installing a new router

I looked into this,iirc Im sure they wont allow them as they class them as wifi sniffer apps etc.

I have jailbroken iphone 3 and ipod touch.

Ps3 displays wifi signal in % but obviously not portable!

My Nokia N8 does that out the box if you have one of those kicking about you can use that.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
