What to look out for? Looking at a couple on eBay at the mo.

I know of the rust on the quarters, this ones clean, and also the rear axle bushes. Says its fine it's got 12 month test too.
Cheers fellow non Corsa owners

The phase1 engines are likely to explode and they have an awful grey interior. Also, they're prone to more rust than usual.
Get aircon too, oh and imperial blue is the only colour to have.
One more thing, make sure it's standard and has the side strips. Can't stand it when people remove them.

Love you said that about sidestrips Adio, I hate it when people remove them and make it look like an Encore model.

I'm pretty tempted to swap all the 1.7 Puma goodies into a base model MK5. As a track slag.
But the Zetec S is a good looking little car.

i love the mk5 ZS, lovely cars and do look best in imp blue.
get bored of the power too soon though and sold my last 2 pretty quickly.
First one was a phase2 and second one was a phase 1 with a phase 2 engine, as it had exploded like adio said above
missus sister keeps trying to sell me her black ph1

I know they aren't very quick. Just after something that's not a 1.poo and that could be used on a track day if needed.

I don't have many pics. From my garage:
Yes, blue side repeaters.. I was young. I owned it from new, before the chavs could afford them.
I also bought a phase1 grill, debadged it and stuck a VTS 16V badge on it
lowered it 60mm too, but it handled better standard, imo.

Yeah but the last two cars I've done track days in are a Clio 182 and a 143bhp 106 GTi so it will be slower
On my phone at the mo, it's on eBay, item number is 190615646366
