You can't unlock an iPhone outside of the network other than jailbreaking then unlocking, if the baseband is the correct one.

Are they having a fucking laugh? £100 to unlock a phone!? I phoned O2 even though I didn't get the phone from them and they did it for free, on my 3gs and 4. Why wont the network unlock it? they usually do for £20 if not free, other than that use a gevey sim, slight pain in the arse but about a tenner.

Jailbreaking doesn't unlock it though, unless you have the right baseband (which is highly doubtful).

Wrong baseband for jailbreaking. 02 won't unlock unless I've been with them for 12 month!

I've paid the £60 see what happened.

I think Apple charge a lot less than that for an unlock.

My iPhone? A lot less than what it would cost brand new.
