The majority of people are back at work tomorrow, are you looking forward to going back?

It's gonna be tough getting up at 0600 every day again seeing as my body clock's shifted about +5hrs. I'm really not looking forward to going back, it's a time when I think to myself "if the country's employment situation was better I'd be looking for a new job"

No.

Conference for 3 1/2 days - thats Ok.
After that, off to Taiwan for 'a few weeks'

I'll be looking to change job this year I think. Fed up of all the travel shit.

Do i fuck want to go back to work. In recent years, when i was in a previous job, i liked the prospect of going back to work after the Christmas break. It was nice to have the time off, but, because i liked my job, i wanted to go back.

However, because i dont like many of the people i have to work with in my current job, i hate the prospect of going back.

My biggest problem is also early starts again, I usually start work at 5 but I have been getting up gone 9 most days while I have been off

Although, I am being picked up tomorrow so jump in the van and have another 1-2 hours sleep

Going to check my diary in a bit to see what appointments I've got tomorrow! Hopefully nothing too bad. Got a nasty cold too which doesn't help!

Im back today :/ I think we are the only engineering company to do this.

Im hating it. Too many partys with a few all nighters and sleeping untill 2-3pm. Im glad i am back in a way though, it stops me going out for a slap up meal and drinking every day spending 100's

After barely seeing daylight this week due to getting up mid afternoon and going to bed at some daft times, I opted not to sleep last night in preparation for a good nights sleep tonight and hopefully a nice refreshed start in the morning, the latter most likely being a bit over-optimistic.

As for my actual mindset, I think it'll be good to start actually thinking again, brain functions have been pretty minimal this last week or so.

Whether we're ready for the potential influx of calls that tend to come after businesses being closed for more than a week is another matter.
