Been looking at cars today because ive still not replaced the RS from selling it in early Nov.

Found a nice RS4 saloon in Misano Red on a 57 plate, its 2 owner car with 46k miles and I think its worth a punt on. Its priced well imo but its missing a few preferred parts & i'm not sure what to make of it.

Would you buy one without the buckets & SatNav or is it going to be a pain to sell on??

Personally neither bothers me but the only thing that does is the potential fruitless resale.

Also would a make/model related number plate be worth anything if I wanted to sell it on - RS57AUD?

If your getting a 4 year old one I'd be going for top spec to have hope of valuation, or even if not it will draw more resale opinion rather than a bottom spec

You need the seats it makes a massive impact on the feel of the car (more so than you think). My mates megane felt different to mine just because had had recaro and he had normal 225 seats and im sure jambo would say the same about his old clio.

Sat nav wouldnt bother me. They look really good but rarely work as well as you would like. Was out in MIL x5 over xmas and that didnt have the fogiest where it wanted to take us.

Our fruits unlce has a Range rover sport which is also the same. Look cool - but dont function very well. Granted they are 2006 cars and the technology has changed alot in that time but i honnestly think a £100 tom tom is the better option.

Agreed on sat-nav, the one in my 05 M3 was terrible. Was better just relying on my nipples for directions!!

Its got a milltek as well...just not the seats!!

set on ebay just now for 900 quid with 2 days left. Not sure I can be bothered with that though it could still potentially be reasonable money for a 57 plate!!

I would go for stock high spec than modified low spec. I bet over 50% have miltek on. £900 for seats I bet if you add that to price it you will find a better example . Is red colour your after? I've been looking for a decent priced s5 but all sprint blue seem to blow their balls off

The seats that are in it look similar to the ones in my A4. They are very comfortable and hold you well but in a RS4 I think i'd want the proper jobbies.

Not looking for any colour in particular, just saw this, 10 miles down the road so went for a look & it looks decent.

I'd say its priced well?

The full leather ones are great, the bolsters tighten when you hit the sport button too.

The normal ones look very similar to the seats in my S3 which are very comfortable, probably still Recaro, just RS4 badged.

Regardless of the poor capabilities of teh sat nav - this car 100% needs it imo.

As for the seats - again, its an RS4 and needs the bucket seats.

Yes, those without these options can/should be priced accordingly to reflect the missing items but I would say both are needed.

The black one looks nice but a sprint blue with buckets and nav would be a winner imo.

I would definetly get the highest spec one rather than one with 10k fewer miles. They both look stunning, but i would be looking at that black one!

Awesome cars, im sure you'll love it. ALOT more grown up than that bloody RS and a nice upgrade from the M3.

I'd say don't buy black. Pain in the arse colour to keep clean and prevent swirls etc.

Also it may just be the pic but front left wheel looks very curbed.

If you want an RS4 then shop about to get the right one.
