Thing for me is she said it was out of context and referring to white behaviour in the 19th century.
Now if I said blacks are only good for digging because they used to do that in the 19th century, that wouldn't be acceptable.
She should resign because we've heard for decades now how anyone who makes generalisations about race is actually the devil and should die in a fire, so the precedent is set. I hope the National Black Police Association, The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Black People's Mental Health Association, Association for Black Engineers et al are happy.

Basic double standards there, how can you have a group called that but not call a black person coloured, a la Alan Hansen? Are the rules different in America or is it purely to encompass all skin tones? They might as well have called it The National Association for the Advancement of Anyone Who Isn't White.

The entire race issue for me is over. Anyone needs educating in this day and age is probably beyond hope and anyone still educating about it is merely perpetuating the divide.
