If you use a v6 fuel pump to run a redtop not goin to over fuel is it ?? Because its only supplying ??

Probably could but the lad who I'm getting the engine off is giving me that so saves buying one i just wanted to know if it would over fuel :S

pretty sure it will be exactly the same as every other MPI pump.

You don't need to change the fuel pump thats in your car now.

no i think he means the guys car already has the pump that he needs, I think its a 1.0l but i've heard they starve the XE although I'm sure Jamies was a 1.0l so he'd know from his conversion

So with mine being a 1.2 8v would i have to change :S. Ive heard id have to but ive never been 100% sure haha

if your cars a 1.0 then you dont need to change the pump as it already mpi

What's the difference though ? I thought it was only suited to a small engine

ahh i see so its not engine size its just if its a spi or mpi car before the conversion as the spi obv cant run the same pressure and speed that the mpi pump runs?
