Bit of a shame, I've certainly no major complaints about them. Usually cheaper than services as well.

Same.
I remeber that Heston guy did something a few years back to help revive them to.
I would never eat at Mc Donald's, revoltingly bad food and terrible for you.

Not been in 1 for years. When I did though it was an over priced greasy spoon.

They're only really for travelling people, mostly out of town, or on A roads aren't they?
Hardly a place that you'd go on a date, or take the family for a meal.
They have been screwed for years

Likewise. I didn't realise they still existed. Can't be many in Scotland.

Been going under for years! They tried to revamp them but it failed. Breakfasts are awesome.

I've only ever been in one but I go in most of the times I go past it. Early starter breakfast usually goes down well.

Not been in one for years but I could never fault the food. Theres one near me that we always used to recover in after a heavy night out, breakfasts in there were amazing.

Used to use them all the time, til we got a limit on our lunches. Far too pricey for what you get.
Olympic breakfast was good though.

I ate at my local one (shut down a few years ago) and thought the food was alright. Decent service and all that.

I haven't been in one in years, in fact the last time I went to one was when I was staying at a Travelodge next door in Oxford.
Wasn't particularly a nice place to eat at IIRC.

Years ago they were awesome. Decent full english at good value. But last time i went in one, a few years back coming back from Glasto, it was pretty shite and seriously expensive for what you got (plates seemed to have got a lot smaller).

I cant believe they didnt go under years ago. Even as a kid i knew that it was crap and near closing down. Think the one near me finally closed a couple of years ago.
