Right hopefully someone can help, I'm getting a grinding noise every time I turn left in the mini.
It started last week but now its really annoying and getting louder, any ideas people??

Grinding from where?

The wheel area or steering wheel area.

Grinding or more of a creaking? Steering column would be my first guess...

Front passenger side wheel. It's not coming from the rack, I'm dreading when that happens lol.
Its a proper grinding noise like scraping.

Sure you haven't go something trapped between the wheel and something else on the car?!

Checked to see if anything is catching on that side? was going to say CV or bearing but you should hear it going the other way aswell.

cheers everyone, yeah i think its the wheel bearing. had both passenger side wheels off and cant see any evidence of scraping or catching etc. any ideas on prices to get it changed?

Sure its not a dry joint? Are the rubber gaitors for the ball joint/track rod end ok?

Normally it'd click if it was a dry cv joint.

Will be the metal heat/dust shield touching the disc I'd imagine.

Checked that yesterday Joe, no touching and I pushed it back a bit just incase.
The noise is constant now, the mechanic thinks its the bearing too.
Have to replace the hub
