Probably that everyone else doesn't have a Chinese shed as a base car.

why not do it?
i aint a plato fan in anyway at all, but he will have a car which should match the others in the field, chevvy obviously didnt want to head down the ngtc route or he would have stuck it out with silverline, they were basicly running in the btcc with the year before wtcc spec's so didnt have huge development funding. . going to 888 and having mg works team backing means it will be a paid drive aswell rather than forking out, great move for Andy being that he can/could learn alot from plato, and being that he will be on par minus the info other teams have made up from last year hopefully he will cut down with the moaning
