hello
im currently waiting for my insurance renewal , ive now turned 21 , will i see a decent drop in the price of insurance ?
or is it just rumours that it goes down once 21

not really everyones insurance has been going up never mind down

so i wouldnt be building your hopes up in it dropping

I wouldn't expect it to be any different, you could be 21 with another years ncb and it might be more expensive.

righto cheers , i was just curious , im happy with what i payed last year so a little drop would be nice , its only a 1.0 corsa so either way it wont break the bank

Mine did massivly. Enough for me to leave my car off the road for a week till I went 21 as it saved me a fortune

Mine dropped a tiny bit (£50 a year) but I wouldn't count on it the way things are going.

Mines dropped every year gaining another years no claims. I've changed companies every year as they gave me a crap price for the following year.

I'm currently 21, 3NCB, SP30, 1 crash my fault and paying £620 FC for an Audi A3 2.0 TDi.

Everyone is saying theres hasn't gone down and there getting higher priced quote's... mine has gone from £1800 to £975 in my first year surely it will get cheaper somehow.

Personally I think they are continually moving the bar. I bought a mk5 Golf GT Sport in June last year and the insurers I was with at the time that had my mk4 Golf PD150 insured said they wouldn't insure the mk5 until I was 30! WTF.

Mine just dropped a grand turning 22 was 1900 fully comp on - 330sport now 850
