Ok I have got some gauges I want to buy from a member on MLR. He assures me they're all working but I just wanna make sure I'm 100% covered if they is any problems. What is the best way to send money over PayPal so I can claim funds back if there is an issue?

As above, never send as a gift. If you send as a gift and there is something wrong with it, you can't get your money back. Send it under "Goods/Services" then if there is a problem, you can open up a dispute case.
