Building a house on greenbelt . Basically there was 7 cottages there maybe 100 years ago, got pulled down Inc foundations. Then it went greenbelt but there is houses near. Can it be rebuilt on I.e detached house same building materials and improving the area? Or will it be a no go? Didn't government ease up on greenbelt rules last year?

You can normally rebuild an existing building on greenbelt land. However if the buildings were torn down ages ago you're stuffed, be prepared for war with the planning people.

Cant see you getting permission. My dad only got permission for his house because he worked in agriculture at the time.
