Just bought a sxi 1999 b and the speedo starts go down by itself and then it revs by itself aswell sometimes
Anyone know if problems are linked? If not what they could be seperatly

The speedo drops while you're driving?
Also when you say revs itself do you mean the counter indicates revs or the engine actually revs up.

It goes down to 0 and goes up n dowm between the speed ya doin
and actually revs

i would say clocks or speedo sensor but seen as you said it actually revs itself i dont think thats the problem...

Throttle itself? Sticking? Might try abit of degreaser on it see if that helps

That for me is two problems not one.
Speedo dropping can only be the sender, loom or the clocks themselves. I would think the sender is the most likely to fail from all of those.
Car revving on its own could be a lot of things, when does it do it?

When im sat say at a light revs from 1.5k to 2.5k
|
