I know there are already various poker threads but I thought I would start a new one.

Does anyone play public tournaments on a regular basis?

I've been to a few fairly big tournaments but I want to start doing it on a regular basis. Most I've been to are full of idiots that are very hard to play against.

I've managed to find a local poker club that has good reviews that I'm going to try tonight.

Anyone had any good live games?

never played in real life, only cyber space, used to do it all the time when i was 18-21 made a nice wedge and lost it all again

rarely gamble at all now

I find when I play live, I just overthink stuff and play tight (opposed to online where I play very loosely) which I know I do, but I can't seem to not do it .

I play with a lot of mates on a weekly basis.
Never a public tournament though.

use to play every leage in "the poker project" my mate started it up then sold it to Sky poker
that was about 4 years ago though
i justplay online and in Vegas now

There's a place in London called Fox Poker Club. It's got really good reviews and the reviews state that the standard of play is reasonably good. I'm going to give it a whirl tonight.

Played live at the casino twice. Both times made the final table and won decent money. Never been since
