Not really sure about this but is there any sort of requirement to have a business phone package rather than residential if you are classified as a business?
Paying crazy amounts at the moment for line rental, calls and broadband on an old BT package and have ISDN lines on a separate bill. Contract is now up so am looking to sort out a new plan for the calls, broadband and line rental and most of the decent packages are residential.

Business lines are never as cheap as residential, even if you're VAT registered and take that into account.
If you work from a residential address then just get a residential line and broadband.

VOIP ftw. Call charges are fook all if your only calling landlines. But even the mobile rate is low.
Google 'liquid voip' they do a voip package that you don't need your own server for etc so easy for someone who isn't techy

VOIP isn't quite there yet. Can normally tell when someone is on a VOIP line.
