hi all im doing a red top conversion on my brother inlaws 1.0 and need a bit of advice on a few things.
which clocks fit (with rev counter)
which springs to upgrade to
what is the fuel pump needed
will all strut braces fit over the red top lump

you need a multi point fuel pump i have one for sale £20 ive seen redtops with strut brace guesing you need to put powercap on before they can be fitted though

can fit with ecotec pipe aswell ur 1.0 fuel pump will be fine aswell
any clocks fit just connect green wire to run rev counter
springs and shocks together work ie like bilstein etc
or get coilovers

my bro inlaws just looking for springs at the mo but my concern is which springs will take the weight

you can use the 1.0 12v pump, it may be a 1.0 but its still a mpi pump fitted, springs wise id go for a suspension kit on my last one i used spax stuff but i did use avo coilovers on a previous one which made the car really nice to drive, clocks can be taken from any model but depending on if its an electrical or mecchanical speedo your using go for corsa gsi or corsa sport from a post 97 sport so you get 140 clocks rather then 130mph, strut braces are easier to get if you fit a ecotec pipe rather than the power cap as alot foul the powercap when fitted

Cant use 1.0 clocks the tacho wont work as they are for 3 cyl engine and will limit early. You need 4cyl tacho clocks.
