I am waiting to fit my recently aquired mantzel and since I dont like to do anything I can't undo, what model Opel/Vaux cars share the same airbox, so I can get one to de-restrict etc.

standard air box, drilled and de-restricted. currently with a unknown filter from a "Subaru" apparently, cut and sealed to fit.
no official gains from a k&n panel or any other brand for that matter however a k&n ones on its way as im due to replace it

why would you go through the effort of cutting another cars air filter to fit your airbox?

ebay win of 99p free p+p and looked like it fitted. (so the lass won it for me when i was out)
only needed to cut an inch off and seal that end and needed a filter at that time.
it was listed as 'subaru vauxhall ford - filter'

it filters air dont it

if you cut it, its not going to seal 100% and bits will come off over a period of time and will go into the engine.

you'll have no oil in your engine once all the paper goes in there and soaks it up

joke btw
