Probably nothing I can do but about a year ago I saw a broom yellow Fiat Coupe slam on his brakes and cause two cars behind him to crash.

Now, I know that technically the cars behind are at fault for not leaving enough braking distance, but this was done totally on purpose and the car sped off down some country lanes to hide.
By the time I gave chase I'd already lost him as the lanes involved are a total maze to me and I'm pretty sure I picked the wrong road when it came to a fork.

I saw him again this morning, recognised the aftermarket exhaust he had, and the fact there aren't many broom yellow Coupes around Gerrard's Cross. I took a picture of his reg.

Is there anything I can do? Or is it too late

Probably too late, why didn't you do anything about it at the time (apart from give chase)?

Nothing, are you willing to go to court and have your address read out if it came to anything?

That's stupid imo, you can't prove it was him though so I'd still do nothing.

Yeah, If I'd got his reg at the time I could probably do something.

Just wish I gave chase earlier when it originally happened

EDIT - If I'd got his reg at the time I would of reported it straight away. Just figured that there were enough people at the scene who would report what happened.

They don't read out all your personal details. Do you really think your going to go in as a witness and they say "next on the stand is mr A.Smith who lives at 4 the street"

Really?

so he caused a crash and drove off?
My understanding was that the person behind would be at fault, however the person who was crashed into would need insurance details of he person who had hit him? why would he drive off??

He wasn't hit, but slammed on the brakes to annoy the pickup that was following him.

They read out far too many addresses for me to take the chance, including the jury.

They get to see you anyway which is just as bad.

Like it would even get to court anyway

Complete waste of time. No proof that it was that driver and even if it was, there is no proof that he slammed on on purpose. Im pretty sure the cars involved have gone through insurance and have been repaired by now...
