I'd pay for a membership here first tbh, unless you want to sell something on there.

It's seems like it down weekly, not sure on exact outages etc, but it's pretty poor considering CS manages to stay online a lot more than AOC, I also refuse to pay to be able to sell things, as if a £5 charge is going to stop a potential scammer.

It's a recent "idea" not sure how long it was introduced as I can't even get on the site to find the thread! I'd be even more pissed if I'd paid for trader status, I'm sure I read somewhere that it's about £250 for a year. Really poorly run site.

well thats crap, looks like ill have to flog the few spares else where then, wouldnt be worth selling some of the stuff if £5 charge is needed, unless its a 1 time payment?

Yeah, £5 for the year, but I don't personally think it would make any difference if someone wanted to scam people etc.

Yeah, I don't begrudge the price, it's more the fact that the amount of downtime they have, at least on here you know that there won't be much downtime... Be interesting to see how many paid members they have on AOC.

Its a popular thing, I had to pay on ZSOC and although it isn't 100% the rule on Project Puma, they made me because I said I had a whole car's worth of bits.
I've never seen the point, it doesn't stop scammers. Probably good for income though.
