Work is pretty productive at the minute, and in recognition I have a little more freedom in the cars I have access to and get to use for periods of time - depending on manufacturer availability/demand.

Although I churn plenty of Demonstrators, this one was pretty special. At £88k and with the new 40d engine, I was looking forward to it.

I have clocked up circa 800 miles since Friday (All business miles ) and filled it up twice (small tank £80 a pop)

It is absolutely fantastic and will be missed when it goes back

Apologies to the lack of creativity or quality of the photos - iphone4 and operator error = piss poor photos.

pics

that looks absolutely stunning imo, the new 3/5/6 are most certainly good looking cars, shame the 1 series is a pile of turd.

88 thousand pounds though would rather an r8 personally.

It certainly has a presence about it, although as you say - I would probably prefer to be sat in a nearly new R8 V10 or AM Vantage?

The 'individual' leather price is circa £4700.

The B&O is a nice touch. Similar set up to the high end Audi's where the centre speaker lifts from the centre of the dash.

This has heads up display too at a cost of £1k.

Nearly £30k on extras :/

It doesnt look like £90k's worth of kit either. But i bet it drives nice. How fast do you think it is? What car (speed wise) would you compaire it to? MPG?

313bhp and 630NM Torque through the back wheels. Only really lively in sport mode. I cant really make any direct comparison as it would be a different type of car but it shifts when asked.
MPG is showing 32.1

The 35d in the previous generation 5 series was probably the best engine/car combo I have driven.

Lovely motor but £90k jeez.

How much will it be worth in 4-5 years? Half that?

Doesn't even look like 60k's worth of car, let alone 88k.
