I cant stop thinking i should be driving something abit nicer now....

I like the astra, i like the spec - and thats why ive kept it

But I keep getting urges to get something rwd, but has to be diesel as i seem to be heading on 20k+ miles a year. Currently only get 43mpg, so if stays the same wouldnt matter to much!

Has to have toys, got to used to it now...

I just feel if i get a 320d or 330d il always be gutted i didnt spend the extra and get the 335d (maps straight to 350bhp)

But Wouldnt want to spend much over 10k.....so do i wait for them to drop in price or get a lesser spec to what i want?!

Infact so will I, the 335d I used to borrow was fast but the RWD was terrible. Once your going fast in a straight line its fine

You answered it there. Few grand more but a car with good mpg and power . I think they are one of best all rounders going .

Also I dont think they will drop much as they are the best of the range IMO . I think a 335i would due to petrol prices but diesels always more preferable . I wouldn't worry about depreciation on 335d . You'll need 12 I'd say to get a reasonable one .

I do like the 335D's but you can pick up a not so played with one for a couple of grand more with alot less mileage. The respray would put me off too, especially since its been sprayed in a colour you can buy them in anyway. I'd just be asking myself why someone would do that?

The one above is a bad example . There seems an increasingly amount of m3 replicas on the Market , personally i wouldn't go near . Save up another 3grand and get an m sport too . I bet some of these 07 that are priced too high would drop a few grand . Also if u do decide to buy one let BMW check mileage on the key too

its always another few grand,

a few grand gets a msport

a few grand gets fully toys

a few grand gets fully loaded

next thing your looking at a 18k car, i dont want to spend that much

just spent out on a Honda DC2, money tree isnt growing quick enough!

Oh

My mate just got a 335D for 14k and it's not loads of mileage so they are about that price you are looking at. Mileage on a BMW and especially in Diesel means nothing IMO

my 65 year old has the same shape 3 series as that (325i though) and its a very nice car woth the msport bits on.

also looks like its worth 10x what the astra is, so you can pretend to be a high flyer.
